Yesterday the celebrations began with cupcakes and champagne for Brimsmore Gardens’ 20th Birthday and the excitement is set to continue right up until 10th March. To mark the start of the anniversary festivities there were bubbles and cake for all customers and we welcomed Jane Norman from the Blackmore Vale who had come to take photos of the whole team. There is a timeline detailing the history of the Garden Centre which includes pictures of some very interesting 90s hairstyles – pictures of the completion of the first extension to the garden centre and of the launch of the new Farm Shop.

It has really been non-stop – today we have a photographer in taking pictures of our new service at the Apple Tree Farm Shop – Cheese Wedding Cakes! Yes you have read that correctly, wedding cakes made from drums of cheese are set to be all the rage this year. Then tomorrow we are welcoming The Mayor and Mayoress of Yeovil, Councillor Phil Chandler and Ms Linda Jones to cut the official 20th Birthday Cake and enjoy a glass of champagne with members of the team. The garden centre is open as usual and all are welcome to join in, so do join us in raising a glass to another successful 20 years!
