It might be wet and miserable outside but we’re not going to let it dampen (excuse the pun) our spirits. We’re busy planning our Father’s Day and BBQ weekend events which will take place on Saturday 16th & 17th June at Brimsmore and Castle Gardens – we’ll be firing up the barbie and serving fresh local sausages and there is even a free pint for all the deserving dads that head our way. We’ve got a BBQ draw which is free to enter and could mean you taking away a Weber Smokey Joe BBQ and pack of local sausages from the Apple Tree Farm Shop.
If you think your Dad, like me, has a wardrobe fit to bursting with colourful shirts and ties and has enough ‘World’s Best Dad’ mugs to last a lifetime then why not think a little different this year. We’ve got a fully stocked lifestyle department including outdoor bars, grills, tools and accessories. Table sets and chimeneas, not to mention fruit trees, vegetable plants and raised beds to keep him busy all summer.
This week the tickets for our wildlife awards are now available to buy, TV Gardener and Horticulturist Toby Buckland will be giving a talk and presenting the awards. Ticket numbers are limited and all proceeds are going to charity so make sure you don’t miss out.
