Last night hundreds of you piled through the doors of Castle Gardens for the opening of The Gardens Group biggest Christmas displays. We poured mulled wine and warmed the mince pies as quickly as we could while our Christmas team were behind the curtain putting the finishing touches to our grandest display ever – well, we think so anyway.

From Champagne and ‘Under the Sea’ to Cinderella and Elizabethan themes, this year Louise has pulled out all the stops and along with the team have a display they really should be proud of. Judging from the Garden Centre Association will be upon us before we know it, so keep your fingers crossed for Castle, Poundbury and Brimsmore as we’d love to get an award for our hard work this year.

It being our 25th year we really are going the extra mile this year; Father Christmas will be at each centre in December (see our website for times) there will be presents and grottos and that double decker bus will be back at Brimsmore. Plus….and I’m happy for you to be the first to know, real live reindeer!!!! That’s right, your eyes are not deceiving you, Cupid, Snowflake and of course Rudolph will be visiting our centres on various dates in December, so keep your eyes peeled for information.
