St Paul’s Playgroup in Sherborne is an organisation very close to our hearts, as we’ve got staff whose children and now grandchildren who have attended the playgroup at some point since it opened in 1973. It’s a community playgroup run by an elected committee and a team of dedicated staff and is non-profit making.
So to help it celebrate the big 40, we’ve donated a selection of flowers and pots to line the edge of the playground. Our gesture also marks the beginning of development plans for the outside area to commemorate the significant milestone.
We’re always keen to encourage youngsters who show an interest in the outdoors, and to see excitement in the children about watering the plants and keeping them looking sprightly is just fantastic. Who knows there may even be some budding gardeners amongst them?
We wish the young gardeners the very best of luck for tending to their new plants and look forward to seeing how they develop and flourish over the coming months.
