The summer holidays are upon us, and although this is great news for the kids, it can leave the adults feeling the pressure in terms of keeping them entertained for six weeks. So we have organised a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party for 16th August at all three of our garden centres from 2:45pm – 4:30pm. Everyone is invited to this free event to eat jam tarts, win prizes for the best decorated cup-cakes and top-hats and make tea with The Mad Hatter, Alice and The White Rabbit. For the adults, we’ll be giving out a voucher for a cream tea which will be redeemable at The Walled Garden Restaurant, Castle Gardens, Sherborne in September, once the kids have gone back to school.
If the mention of a cream tea has got your mouth watering then come and spend the afternoon in The Walled Garden this Sunday, we’ll be having afternoon tea with Sherborne Town Band from 2:30pm at Castle Gardens.
