This year we are excited to announce that freelance botanist, photographer, lecturer, author and owner of Natural History Travel, Bob Gibbons will attend the fourth awards ceremony on 1st August 6:30pm – 9pm at Castle Gardens. Bob will present the awards for the top gardens entered into the competition that we run with Dorset Wildlife Trust, and will give a topical talk on why gardening for wildlife matters. The evening will be a celebration of the ever-growing number of wildlife friendly gardens in Dorset and will hopefully inspire others to turn their gardens into wildlife havens. Gardeners and wildlife enthusiasts alike will be able to enjoy refreshments, music and a charity raffle and find out how to enter the 2014 competition.
