Lucy Simpson gets blueberry shrubs ready for RHS Chelsea Flower Show small

You may remember that last year we were asked by Richard and Jane at Plankbridge to help put the finishing touches on their Tradestand Exhibit at RHS Chelsea Flower Show providing beautiful marguerites and lavender. Well we are delighted to announce that Lucy Simpson, who manages Poundbury Gardens is currently nurturing some blueberry shrubs, borage and mint ready for Plankbridge to take to the UK’s most prestigious flower show, when they return on Tuesday 19 – Saturday 23 May 2015.

This year Plankbridge is taking a micro-kitchen inside a shepherd’s hut with the idea being for keen gardeners, foragers and experimental cooks to enjoy produce from their garden or allotments at its absolute freshest. Our plants will help set the scene at Chelsea and will hopefully inspire visitors to grow their own fruit and vegetables, as well as a variety of ornamental plants and flowers.

If you’re lucky enough to be visiting RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year, then please do stop by Tradestand PLW/1 to see the fruits of Lucy’s labours.
