Our Young Grower of the Year competition is well underway, with those taking part carefully nurturing their plants before they are judged in July at our Chilli Pepper Festival. The young growers will be eagerly watching their crop as little white flowers emerge, at the same time making sure they have enough warmth and sunshine, which is absolutely key to getting the best peppers.

Growing your own peppers and chillis is really simple and you don’t even need much space to do so as they will grow very happily on patios, in greenhouses or even a sunny windowsill. What’s more, during our Chilli Pepper Festival this July, we’ll be sharing plenty of innovative and delicious recipes, so you can enjoy eating the fruits of your labours too.
