The atmosphere in Poundbury was electric yesterday, as hundreds of people lined the streets around Queen Mother Square to catch a glimpse of the Royal visitors. Her Majesty The Queen, along with The Duke of Edinburgh, HRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall arrived to a fanfare before a short tour.

Poundbury Gardens and The Engine Room provided the backdrop for the grand unveiling of the much-anticipated Queen Mother statue, which now stands tall and proud outside of the garden centre and restaurant. We were also delighted to be a part of this very special occasion, hosting the contractors and their families, who have been involved in the development of Poundbury.
