Although the holidays are slowly coming to a close, we still have a few more summer events left up our sleeves to keep the children (and the grown-ups) entertained, right to the end.

Illyria will return to Castle Gardens for the last time this year on Wednesday 30 August with an open-air performance of Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson’s most baffling case, The Hound of the Baskervilles. Poundbury Gardens will host a brand new Pot Painting week from Monday 27 August to Sunday 2 September where budding gardeners can paint their very own pot to take home, but what will they choose to grow in their masterpiece?
