We would like to acknowledge the strain that our telephone ordering system has been under and apologise to any customers who have not been successful in placing an order. At this time of year, each of our garden centres would normally welcome thousands of visitors a day, so trying to keep up with this seasonal demand in the current climate with limited resources is a huge daily challenge, one that our reduced teams have been working tirelessly to overcome.
Refining the telephone order system is something that we are currently exploring, but in the meantime, our aim to is to continue fulfilling as many telephone orders and deliveries as we can to ensure people stay safe at home. The health and wellbeing of our staff and customers remains a top priority, which means that we have to limit the amount of calls that we can accept each day to ensure that orders are handled while maintaining social distancing and even higher hygiene standards.
