I would like to say a huge congratulations to our whole team at The Gardens Groups for their unwavering efforts and involvement in our Planet Mark sustainability certification project.

Following this I am delighted to announce that we have been named as one of the finalists, shortlisted in the Employee Engagement category at the Planet Mark Awards 2023.

The judges have recognised the lengths that each centre has gone to, in order to achieve our results. Our 25.9% carbon reduction per employee over the past year is something to be very proud of, and it simply would not have been possible without a joined-up approach across every corner of the business.

Louise and I would like to thank you all for being such forward-thinking, sustainably minded team members that have got stuck in at every stage of the process, from idea generation and target setting to measurement and review. Together, we have worked on hundreds of new initiatives, pushed forward by smaller groups assigned to each task.

We are looking forward to the award ceremony on Thursday 2 November at The Royal Institution in London.
