Castle, Brimsmore and Poundbury Gardens have collectively raised another £3,125 for the British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal. Donating the proceeds raised from the sale of commemorative jute bags made for Castle Gardens’ 35th anniversary and Brimsmore Gardens’ 30th anniversary, each garden centre has delivered a cheque to their local British Red Cross branch for the second time this year.
A cheque for £1,750 and £360 has been delivered to the Sherborne branch of British Red Cross and £1,015 to the Weymouth branch of British Red Cross. In total The Gardens Group has donated over £6,800 to the British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal so far this year.
The anniversary jute bags are still available to buy at all three garden centres for £5 each and all proceeds will continue to be donated to the British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.
