
Award-winning film and television producer, Adam Alexander will share tales of seed hunting and the history behind many everyday vegetables as he discusses his latest release, The Seed Detective at Castle Gardens. In association with Winstone’s Books, this author event and book signing has been rescheduled and will now take place in The Butterfly House on Friday 18 November at 6:30pm.
Exploring the world’s rare and endangered heritage and heirloom vegetables, Adam, who has been seed hunting for 30 years and is a board member of Garden Organic, will explain the importance of continuing to grow these varieties and saving their seeds, not only for gardening and culinary pleasure, but to pass these stories onto future generations.
The Seed Detective by Adam Alexander was released on Thursday 29 September and signed copied will be on sale at the event.
