We’re proud to announce a new partnership with Circular and Co, which makes us one of the first companies to join its nationwide Returnable Cup Scheme.

People in the UK get through at least 2.5 billion disposable cups each year, so the Returnable Cup Scheme is aiming to get people reusing cups rather than sending more to landfill.

So, how does it work?

By joining the scheme, we have removed all single-use takeaway cups from our restaurants and instead have Circular Returnable Cups in their place. These cups cost £1, and on return of the cup, you get your £1 back or a fresh cup.

The cups go into circulation just like that of our ceramic cups we use in our restaurants. They are washed, dried and reused for the next customer. Not only are the Circular and Co cups designed for being reused, but they are also one of the most sustainable cup brands we could partner with. The cups are made from 100% recycled content and are 100% recyclable at the end of their life.

After just 2 uses, the CO2 emissions of the Circular Returnable Cup production are offset versus a single-use alternative. Better still, this scheme is nationwide, so your cup can be used at an increasing number of participating restaurants and cafes across the UK.

We hope you will join us in this mission to lead a sustainable change.
