In the national Garden Centre Category, Castle Gardens won the Paul Cooling Environment and Sustainability Award, and the Ian Boardman Indoor Plants Cup for its houseplant department, as well as the Christmas Competition for its Christmas displays.
In the Local Garden Centre Category, Poundbury Gardens came second in The Outdoor Living Award for Best Outdoor Living Retailer, and also earned second in the Ian Boardman Indoor Plants Cup for its own houseplant department. While in the Christmas Competition, Brimsmore Gardens and Poundbury Gardens took second and third places respectively.
In the final round of awards for overall performance, Castle Gardens came 13th in the country, with Poundbury Gardens in 26th place and Brimsmore Gardens in the top 60. Poundbury Gardens also came second in the Local Garden Centre of the Year category.
Every one of these awards is rigorously judged by the GCA’s experts, so we couldn’t win any of them without our whole team pulling together to achieve exceptional standards.
