This initiative, backed by over 20 leading organisations, including The Gardens Group, DEFRA, the RHS, and conservation charities, aims to make it easier for gardeners to choose sustainable options and help protect our precious peatlands. Additionally, each guide contains details of a new free expert email service for ongoing support.

While 67% of gardeners care about using sustainable compost, only 30% consistently choose peat-free options. This guide is here to change that, offering clear, simple steps on how to grow successfully with peat-free compost. It covers everything from choosing the right compost to tackling common concerns like overwatering and underfeeding.
